Your portfolio size is not our invoice.

AUM fees grow with your portfolio. Every dollar paid off the top is a dollar that never grows again. Our pricing is based on complexity, not assets. Enter your numbers and see the difference.

Illustrative comparison at your selected tier, with the flat fee assumed to increase 3% annually. A fee comparison only; not a projection of investment returns or tax savings. AUM fees reflect industry-average effective rates by account size, averaged from the Kitces Research study and Fidelity RIA Benchmarking Study; rates between published data points are interpolated. Assumes a constant annual return you select, with no contributions or withdrawals; actual returns vary and may be negative. Valence tier pricing is based on planning complexity, not portfolio size. See our Fee Comparison Methodology for full assumptions and sources.

Questions

Fair questions, straight answers.

Are you a fiduciary?
Yes. Valence is a Registered Investment Adviser, legally bound to act in your best interest. The flat fee removes the quieter conflict too - we make the same amount regardless of your account size and activity.
What does the flat fee include?
The full financial planning experience - advice, tax strategy, estate coordination, and investment management. Please note that you may incur other fees from custodians, investment products and third party managers. Valence never shares in these revenues. Please see the Fees section of our disclosure documents.
How do the tiers differ?
The tiers reflect complexity and services provided - not portfolio size. You'll leave the intro call with your exact tier and number, in writing.
How am I billed?
Quarterly, in advance, deducted from your account. If we part ways mid-quarter, the unearned portion comes back to you. No termination fees, no lock-in. Clients are free to come and go as they see fit.
Will the fee go up as my portfolio grows?
Never because your portfolio grew. Your fee changes in only two cases: the work changes and you move to a different tier, or we adjust our pricing in the future. Either way, you'll get plenty of advance notice, and nothing takes effect until you've signed off on the new number in writing.
Who is Valence not a fit for?
Anyone looking for stock picks, market timing, or trading commentary. We control the controllables - taxes, risk, and estate strategy. We can't control the market, so we don't pretend to.

Start with a conversation.

Sixty minutes, no pitch, no pressure. Bring your questions. We'll walk through your situation and see if we're a fit.

Disclosures

Valence Wealth, LLC is an Arizona state registered investment adviser. Registration of an investment adviser does not imply any specific level of skill or training.

This website is for general informational purposes only and should not be construed as personalized investment, tax, or legal advice, or as an offer, recommendation, or solicitation to buy or sell any security. All investing involves risk, including possible loss of principal. Past performance does not guarantee future results.

Valence coordinates plan creation via specialized third-party software (Encore Estate Plans) and independent estate attorneys; document drafting costs may apply.

Tax preparation and filing are provided by Rivet Tax, an independent CPA firm, at the client's election and expense. Valence receives no compensation from Rivet Tax.

Securities-backed lending, margin, and fully paid securities lending are capabilities offered through the custodian, not credit products of Valence. Borrowing against securities carries risk, including potential forced liquidation. High-yield cash rates are variable and not guaranteed.

The flat fee does not include fund expense ratios or third-party manager fees.

Tax-loss harvesting and direct indexing strategies seek to reduce taxes but do not guarantee tax savings; results vary based on individual circumstances, holdings, and market conditions.

Complexity beyond a tier's scope (additional K-1s, additional states, specialist options or hedging providers, complex estate document drafting) is passed through at vendor cost, separate from the flat price.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. (CFP Board) owns the certification marks CFP® and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ in the United States, which it authorizes use of by individuals who successfully complete CFP Board's initial and ongoing certification requirements.
